Practice Areas: Mr. Royal's practice focuses on business transactions including entity formation and operations, tax planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and LLC's, as well as controversies involving the Texas Margin Tax and Texas Sales and Use Taxes. Mr. Royal's practice also includes estate planning, real estate transactions, contracts, and debtor/creditor relationships excluding bankruptcy.

Before earning his law degree, Mr. Royal practiced public accounting as a CPA for 6 years and continues to maintain his CPA license in addition to his attorney's license. He brings his agricultural background as well as his business and tax experience to the practice of law.

Mr. Royal grew up on a family farm near Plainview, Texas and when not in the office practicing law, he still enjoys the satisfaction of a long day working cattle and driving tractors. Mr. Royal's hobbies include snow skiing, fly fishing, and snorkeling, but he is particularly skilled at clay target shooting, having been invited to the U.S. Olympic Training Center numerous times to compete in Men's Trap, in addition to winning several state championships.
