Karol Griffiths, CPA, brings more than 30 years of tax and business consulting experience, including many running her own Austin-based accounting firm, to the Blazier, Christensen, Browder and Virr P.C. accounting team. She has effectively and successfully provided tax accounting, business and software development startup guidance, personal estate planning, and organizational structure optimization to a wide variety of clients, both corporate and individual.

For Blazier Law firm, Karol applies her expertise to the preparation of complex tax and regulatory information returns, as well as the strict management of tax, accounting and compliance issues. Working closely with attorneys, Karol routinely consults on a variety of individual and business tax decisions by providing detailed financial analyses and business strategy solutions, and conducting research into tax law and applicable court cases.

Her knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness in helping clients understand all facets of their financial framework have earned her a reputation as someone who values strong client relationships as much as helping them achieve their business goals.

An Austin resident since graduating from The University of Texas with a degree in economics, Karol is blessed to have two of her three adult children reside locally as well, with the third currently attending law school in Chicago. She is the product of a large and supportive circle of family and friends.

When not working, Karol enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to music, reading and practicing yoga. She is involved in a number of charitable organizations with local and worldwide outreach, including serving on the finance/audit committees for People’s Community Clinic, a 50-year old non-profit health institution that improves health outcomes for the medically underserved. She also provides accounting and management support to two other 501(c)(3) organizations: one whose primary initiative is building and operating a 100-bed hospital in Lungi, Sierra Leone, West Africa, and another that promotes an appreciation and understanding of classical and chamber music with a specific emphasis on education through performance.
